When you are anxious and stressed your body gets really tense and all muscles contract. When you experience chronic anxiety and stress, you might know, this constant tension can have consequences like headaches, neck and shoulder pain, pain all over the body.
Some people feel so stressed, that they can't even let go of that stress during the night and as a consequence they grind their teeth (bruxism). For those (and for everybody else of course) this little technique can be very useful to have up their sleeve.
When your body begins to relax and first off you can feel it in your face, neck and shoulders, down to your posture, your mind will follow and find ease with you :)
